Hello! My name is Janet Ferguson. I am a recent Virginia Tech graduate with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in International Studies. I have varying interests, including public diplomacy, media effects on international communication, event planning, and design. With my degree I think I would be happy in a number of areas, including government service, a nonprofit or a corporate setting with a strong purpose. Additionally, later in life I would also love to open a bed & breakfast or wedding venue on my property. Before returning to college I lived and worked in Vicenza, Italy for three years while my husband was stationed there with the 173rd Airborne Brigade. I was also blessed to have spent most of my formative years living in the suburbs of West London thanks to my dad’s job with the federal government.

When I’m not studying I love Mexican food, Netflix,  beach trips, photography, spending time with friends & family, and adding more places to my map.
